Description
Every Spring I spend a lot of time along the trails around Andrews Pond in Sherwood, PEI. The local watershed group has spent a lot of time fixing the waterway and streams in that area and developing a very nice trail system. Every Spring all sorts of birds, especially Warblers move through there during Spring migration. This May there seemed to be a great number of Black and White Warblers on the move looking for food and mates. After Post Tropical Storm Fiona last fall there are a lot of downed trees along the path which actually helps with photography opportunities as the Warblers spend more time down at eye level than up in the tress. On this day i followed this particular Warbler along the path as he was looking for bugs and periodically singing out. He stopped on top of a stump for a few moments allowing me to capture this nice moment.
